microsoft has recently added POP3 to free webmail accounts but has not yet added IMAP4 support :(

When can we expect you to implement both FTP and WebDAV? .. without FTP (THE way to upload files) or webDAV your storage services almost entirely useless... :( Though I do appreciate the potential 25 gigs with skydrive and the bounty of space for photos... Now that you have a happy shiny IE8 consider a SkyDrive upload addon NOT written in evil-activex (there is no good activex).
